Last Sunday, (October 14th) during the day, two teens walked into our garage and stole my son's bicycle. It was white and red - 24inch mountain bike. It says Omega Quest on it. If anyone sees anything unusual that would fit that please let me know. My husband was inside the house and our garage door was open.
Good luck hon, i cannot count how many bikes we had stolen between my 3 boys. That is why when i see the neighborhood kids leave their bikes laying around i remind them to please go get them and why my grandbabies know that the only place they can park their bike is where they belong at my house.
You know it's really sad we can't leave our garage doors open without someone just walking right in and stealing. :?
What neighborhood was this or the vicinity? "new bikes" seem to show up a lot with a couple kids down the street so I was wondering and I'll keep a look out.
Please file a police report. These types of property crimes need to be recorded. You can ID bikes with an engraver tool. Some local police stations offer this service. It's another small thing that can help.
I have a friend whose bike was stolen out of her garage - the Meadows of Southfort Subdivision.......... Someone must be working the area ?
we live within a mile of Mt. Plesant Road and hwy 50. We did file the police report but we did not have any serial numbers or identifying marks. Thanks
Please shut the garage door. I see all the time what people have in there, it would be EASY just to walk right up, and take whatever I wanted. EVERYONE, SHUT YOUR GARAGE DOORS!!!!
I deliver mails there once in a while (I'm not a regular carrier there). If I do go there, I'll keep my eyes peeled whenever I see bicycles around. In the past, I've seen teenagers riding on small bike and I said to myself "aren't they too old to ride kiddie's bike?". Now after reading this post, it made me wondering.....
