Anyone have a local photographer that they'd recommend? Good with kids, patient, and sensibly priced. I am willing to pay for good pictures but within reason. :)

I've done a couple of weddings, but I don't have the props to really do kid shots.

I could come to your house and do staged photos though, lol..

Otherwise, I'd recommend Potrait Innovations in Cary. I LOVE them!

She does on-location only. Faye did some really important photos for us last year and they were very good. Patient and very nice person. Loves children and posed our pets, too.

She is fantastic and wonderful with kids!! Very reasonbly priced as well. She does mostly local outdoor photography but will travel to the beach for family portraits as well.

Thanks y'all! Looking at those sites has got me to thinking. I want a photographer to take pictures of the kids but on the other hand I love to do it myself too. I love taking pictures and hubby actually got me a really nice camera earlier this year. But were can I get them developed in to studio quality photos? I don't want to pop out some glossy 4x6's from the printer or CVS; I want the wallets, wall portraits, and montages etc.

    Anybody?:-D

On the same lines, I'd like to get duplicates of old wedding photos of my mom/dad etc. How or where can I get this done, don't know a lot about this type of stuff.

Actually, I've had GREAT luck with CVS! I blew up a picture of DH's bike (the one as my AV now) and it came out awesome! You can pick what sizes you want with www.cvs.com upload your photos and presto, you're done.

I know that answer! sorta. You can go to walmart and scan them and get copies or scan them your self. But you have to have a good photo quality scanner.

Ok, maybe I wasn't helpful. I feel like I'm blowing a whole bunch of smoke today.

    Professional style prints...

Wolf Camera does prints...they do a great job. Whatever you want/need.

OR, you can use a service like Snapfish. They are fast and the quality is great too.

GG, yes she did all the professional pics you see on my page. She uses software to make the pictures perfect and she has them printed at a professional lab. Did I mention she is wonderful to work with!!!
