What about the land next to Walmart? I see they are clearing it out. Also, on both sides of the ABC store (on 70) they are offering retail space.
www.regencycenters.com, has a map of the middle creek commons. so far, the italian place, salon, nails, wachovia, dry cleaners and i think that's it. i'm hoping for a dollar store and video rental store, although i just joined netflix because i hate the place up here at 40/42!

Earlier this summer we had heard from Ikea that they were looking at the Charlotte area. The same is true for Container Store.
Don't forget that TwoCousins is gonna be opening there and with a full service bar - cannot wait for a nicer TwoCousins:-D
The IKEA in Charlotte is already open I think. Last time I went thru there I noticed the opening soon signs and that was about 3 or 4 months ago. K
