I had to venture out today and did notice some street flooding. Shotwell road is getting really flooded. Ameila Church road as well. Some spots on 42 are also getting some flooding. (I was traveling from 50 towards Downtown Clayton and back) Hwy. 50 wasn't too bad.

If it keeps raining this hard the 5 o'clock commute will not be fun so be careful.

I'm just a little confused, 50 towards downtown Clayton. Did you mean to say you were on hwy 42 going towards Clayton from the Garner hwy 50 area?
Because hwy 50 is not near Clayton

most people were driving with brains on my way around today so I hope it continues. We need this rain so bad that I am willing to deal with a little flooding. WRAL is saying that it's going to be raining through tomorrow afternoon!!

I was just glad to go over the Neuse River and not actually see the bottom of it.

You said it! It's been very disheartening to drive by and see dry lakes...
