The Johnston County Board of Commissioners will meet in Regular Session on Monday, November 5, 2007, at 10:00 a.m., Commissioners’ Room, Johnston County Courthouse Annex, Smithfield, N.C. The purpose of the meeting is to transact business as presented during the meeting. Auxiliary aids for the handicapped will be made available upon reasonable notice.

sounds like they are looking to purchase property for a high school in the cleveland area because of all the growth in this area. not surprising with all the growth is in west johnston county. aren't clayton and west johnston at capacity now?

 

But where??? Anyone know??

 

Could be rumor...but

Back in June an area developer was overheard saying that two locations were being discussed. One location was on Cleveland Road (would actually connect to the Cleveland Middle school campus) and OTHER location was on Hwy 50 (don't know where).

 

Rumor I heard - Polenta Rd., across from Indian Camp Rd. Just something I heard, there may be nothing to it.

 

The Polenta Rd. rumor has been confirmed by a reliable source. Between Monroe & Indian Camp.

 

I've heard Cornwallis / 42 area....geesh

 

Plenty of open land here. Would a school being close by be good for property values or bad?

 

i heard first hand that if they can come together on a price, they want it on polenta rd right across from indian camp rd
