I haven't seen any times posted for Halloween. I didn't know if certain towns were doing them at different times. Anybody have an idea for when Clayton is doing their Trick-or-Treating??

Just my opinion but i usually am prepared for trick or treaters between the hours of 6pm and 8:30, after that i assume the kids still out are too old and we turn out our lights and bring in our candy and go do the adult celebrating Halloween stuff:-D

I do exactly the same. Clayton is celebrating Halloween on the 31st. I wish the schools would have taken a half day off on that day a a whole day the next. I actually think we should celebrate it the last Saturday of October so that parents and kids are not rushing around and tired the next day.

    Happy Early Halloween!

We're starting around 6 or 6:15 this year, I've got a little ones that need to get to bed, otherwise we'd start later.

Why don't we changed Easter, Christmas, & and any other holiday to fit everyone schedule?

Screw a calander, let's just change it to help me out.

But businesses give days off for Christmas and Easter. Why not Halloween?

That's not what I'm talking about, clif.

Businesses giving days off for the holidays I mentioned has nothing to do with the price of eggs in China.

I know right? have you EVER heard of such??? IF the clocks had changed like they usually do, its dark by 5:15, and that's when I get mine out the door.....but I never, ever, in my 42 years, heard anyone ask what time T&T is....never.....

sundown=time to trick or treat

no what I'm talking about is some rocket scientist wanting to change the ENTIRE day a day more convenient for them.

Hell's Bells let's celebrate Christmas in July! 8)

From what I understand July is actually closer to the date of the birth of Jesus of Nazareth.

Then I misunderstaood your rather confusing post ("Why don't we changed Easter, Christmas, & and any other holiday to fit everyone schedule?")

I was suggesting that we don't need to alter the days that Christmas and Easter fall on because businesses (and schools) automatically give those days off. If a day off were given for Halloween, then we wouldn't have to consider moving it to the last Saturday of October (which was the comment you replied to).

I agree that JC schools should have had early dismissal today and off tomorrow, but what you said about changing the dates you celebrate...ummm NO. I'm sure Halloween isn't the only night of the year people's kiddo's get to stay up late:roll:
