Does anyone know what the grade scale is for Johnston County? I'm going off of memory from back when I was in school awhile back, if I remember correctly scores from 94-100 was an "A", 86-93 was a "B"...etc.

I'm sure it has changed in the "few" *wink* years.

Does anyone know what the scale is?
    I can't find it anywhere!

    Merci! :)

    100-93=A, 92-85=B, 84-77=C, 76-70=D, and below 69 is an F.

Did I understand correctly that the "K'''s do not get a report card or a conduct card? Nothing?

I know they do not get 'graded' on their work yet but nothing?

Yep mine did to, back in the day. Can't wait to see the kiddo's grades today, two weeks ago my 5th grader had straight A's...it's the 8th grader I'm worried about. I don't like C's/D's at all and last time she had a low C/high D (1 pt. under C) in Social Studies...so she's been grounded every since. I told her if you bring anything lower than a C...you are grounded until next report card..that means.. NO phone, NO computer and NO friends for 9 weeks. She'd better hope she listened!

She's always been an A, B student...it errks me because she has the ability, but she's too worried about socializing, ugggg!

That's the exact same thing my best friend did to her son. His skater hair went bye bye...LOL. He actually cried on the way to get it chopped off!:-D

The funny thing her Dad and I were telling her what was going to happen if any bad grades last night, she said can I least come downstairs? LOL, I said yes, but if you missbehave down here, you'll be grounded to your room and I'll remove the tv and radio and you'll only be allowed out for dinner and bathroom. LOL...I thought she was going to pass out...LOL:mrgreen:

Skater hair ...that's it! I couldn't figure out how to phrase it....

Girl you are nicer than me, I had one in bootcamp a couple of years back, and he even had to EAT in his room all by his miserable self....he got to shower and go potty, and that was IT. Bless his heart....I traumatized him for life. Took everything out of that boys room, 'cept a mattress on the floor and his desk.....cried myself to sleep for weeks, darn tough love.

LOL that's too funny...yep my bf's oldest son is in boot camp at the moment(the one who had his hair cut), he's had 4 weeks of it so far, so unless he brings home good grades, he'll have 9 more weeks. He's just pitiful...he stares out of his bedroom window at all of us outside.
