Thought I'd update as so many asked questions via pm & on the forum. The chiro who I thought was overcharging was indeed overcharging. HOWEVER, they were very, very nice about it, explained the mistake(they thought I was on one of the group plans that doesn't offer as much as my insurance does), and promptly corrected it. It was an honest mistake and they even called the insurance company to verify. Very happy w/ the outcome. Still, lesson for everyone is to check, and double check your bills!!! yes! and if you have more than one insurance please make sure you let the drs office know and which one is primary! and every so often make sure that your drs office has your current card on file!!!
so, they changed it for going forward, but what about the amounts they already overcharged you? credited to your account?
They went back and credited everything. They even asked if I wanted it back or credited to my account. I asked for it to be credited as it was an honest mistake.
