This accident was fatal. The news just said it was a mom and her twins in the car, the mom died, the twins are in the hospital, they haven't released any names or conditions. More prayers going out. :-(

The woman was westbound on N.C. Highway 42 in a Mazda Tribute at about 8:45 a.m. when she crossed the center line near Castleberry Road east of Clayton, said Trooper Tommy Emory, of the state Highway Patrol.

One of the girls I work with knows one of the first responders that responded to the scene and he said the woman had been decapitated somehow during the accident, while all the girls had were very minor scratches.

Actually as soon as she crossed the center line she became at fault or responsible for the accident. Atleast the way that NC Law see it.

I almost got T-Boned by a man at Cornwallis/42 yesterday. My green arrow came up to turn, he was on the phone and saw the cars in the turning lane next to him moving and started into the intersection himself! He woke up and caught himself - my horn might have helped - but it was nervewracking!

Yeah, accident details are not necessary to illustrate the real tragedy. Both the loss of a one and only mother and the traumatic influences of being subjected to that situation. I hope and sincerely pray that those four year olds can recall at least some good memories and that this bad memory be erased from their minds.
