I am trying to pull up election results but cannot find anything on us. I could be a little early but does anyone have a link where we can keep up?

wral.com has a complete section devoted to election results. Just click on the drop down menu and select Johnston.

I have tried WRAL and ABC11. Please walk me through the area I should click on as if I were in elementary school. Website dumb on this end. I saw Raleigh and Durham but not us.

    Thanks,
    Grace

Yeah, just one more thing to look forward to tomorrow. At this point I don't respond to that one. How are you?

Doing fine. Just waiting for the results to start pouring in.

Me too. Hugh's link is perfect. I figure we should be getting something around 8:00 pm. I have always either been at someone's house who was on the ballot and getting the calls or at the courthouse so this is kind of new to me. I figure the turnout was low but it will be interesting even so.

Grace don't feel bad, seems like I always have trouble getting Johnston County results no matter when the election was. I've often thought my computer just didn't want to go to the websites because it would take forever to load...if it would even show them to me.

Polls just closed at 7:30. I voted at 7:15 and was the 389th person at my polling location. Guess there is a lot of community interest in this issue

It's not looking good for the transfer tax or the sales tax.8)

Indications are that the transfer tax / sales tax are running about 75-85% no.

But, lest the county commish "reads" that this is an approval for an increase in the property taxes, because the vote was against giving them the option to raise sales or property taxes, perhaps they need to understand another point.

Do a better job with what you've got. And then, perhaps you can convince us that once you have appropriately applied the funds you've spent, that the need for more is real.

    my 2 cents
