It seems that I won't be going to MVP for my birthday (see other thread.) So my question is, where is a good place to Karaoke on Saturday nights?

The Clubhouse is cool but won't have Karaoke on the 13th of October. I don't think Lock Stock and Barrel gets much of a crowd.

Anyone know any other fun places?

The place is either West End or West Side, where Life and Times Cafe used to be. They advertised a lot at first, don't know their status now.

    Karaoke @ Betty's Bar

HarleyGirl -I play at Betty's on Tues & Sat - Patricia & Jackie (same couple that play at Lock, Stock & Barrel) play on Friday nights at Betty's - we've all got a lot of "country" in us, blue jeans, tennis shoes, nothin' fancy - but a good variety of music, country (old & new), R & B, beach, oldies, pop, classic rock, etc. Don't know how many songs Patricia is up to these days, she's converting hers to computer karaoke, but I have around 16,000+ to offer in my collection - hope to retire one day soon and just spend my time singing :)

Not really. I've met several of the Desporados (got a t-shirt a 2 year old could wear) and they are cool peeps. Never saw any "issuses" anytime I was down there. Of course I wasn't there everyday, everynight all night long. Started going when William owned it, then Heidi ran it into the ground, now Lisa. She's really cool. We haven't been back since moving to Apex <vomit> The LIttle Bar is only 3 minutes down the road.. YEAH ME!

Cash business = in my pocket.

    Yep.

Pasttimes (nee Vick's) has karaoke tonight. It's on Old Garner Rd, just south (or east) of Guy Rd.

There are other places, but I don't know off hand where they are, so I'll let others name them.

Go down 70 into downtown Smithfield
    Left onto 301 (towards Wal-Mart)
.1 mile on the Left side

It's beside the Sound Station place - if you blink, you'll miss it. I PROMISE

Well, I know where the Sound Station is (or was, if they moved it).

    Thanks.
