Where I won't get shot? I need to get my comforters washed. Any suggestions? I wonder how much the Cleaners would charge to clean them for me?

I would suggest calling your cleaners, I got mine done for less than $10.
I'd rather pay that then sit at a laundromat for a couple of hours.

I had one cleaned at the place behind Bojangles at 40/42 (Mike's cleaners?) (not sure about the name now) and it was $22.95. If you find a laundromat, let me know. I've got another one that needs washing.

Yes, I have no desire to sit at a laundromat with Thing One and Thing Two.

I've never used their washers but I have the dryers at the laundromat on the corner of Main St, across from (and owned by) T.R.Lee. THe ones at the window are huge and dry quickly.

I think I made four or five trips out there before mine was replaced. I went in the mornings and usually I was the only one there. ...

The only one I found is in angier right accross from carlie c's. (laundry mat)Take 210 and you are there. It costs 10$ approx. So if you can get someone to do it for 10 that would be a good deal. I havent seen a place do it for 10 yet.

go during the week, they are not real busy then.

That is where I do my comforters.

I guess I will call around before I decide to bring the other one somewhere. I just looked at my check register, because it seems like a huge variance in the price. It was Mike's Cleaners, and the check was $24.56 including tax. The comforter was the only thing I had dry cleaned. Mike's Cleaners was highly recommended on this board, and I just assumed prices would be competitive. I won't do that again!

TR Lee was the patriarch of the Lee family that runs the gas station on corner of Robertson and Main in Clayton. Family run business, nice folks and most of the time their gas is as cheap as the "Big boys'" chain stores, plus it's full service. I always prefer to trade locally as opposed to some big corporation.
