Chops on Cleveland Rd????

Last time we went out for steaks was JK's Steakhouse at North Hills, privately own, steaks grilled over mesquite coals at 1000 degrees. We had a great time , like most these days they probably have a website. Also agree with Tripps, been going to the one behind Meredith College on Wade Ave. for about 25 yrs. plus and never had a bad meal, one is Garner has good food as well.

My DD and SIL ate there this past week and said it was the best steak they'd ever had and would definitely go back. I might add, they're very picky about where they eat, so they must have caught them on a good day. They even said the service was great as well. I've never eaten there, but am thinking of trying it soon!

 

Chops looks like a happening place tonight. Parking lot looked busy.

 

for mexican the new restarant that has just opend fiesta or smething behnd the old Dominoes is great, better then la caciona. it is in the strip that carries all the mexican stores on main street.

 

Must have been a private business party in the back room, they were dead tonite when i came through there. i do know that during the holidays they have a lot businesses renting the back rooms for their Christmas parties and i have heard the food is always good from the past couple of years.

It was my first time seeing many cars...other times its like 3 or 4 cars and DH couldn't figure why they stay open. Good thing for Holiday parties to keep them busy

Tuesdays at 12 is the BNI meeting - boat load of cars!

 

I have eaten at Chops several times and was very impressed. We had our company Christmas party there last year and it was great. The food, prices, and service were fantastic.

Chops' food is fairly good. Their service is fairly slow, however.

 

I stopped by chops last night and I must say........Damn good!!!!!

 

i hope that things are achangin there and you are right - i miss going up there but DH refuses to pay an extra $1.75 per drink just because he asks for OJ in his drink.

I have lived less than a 1/2 mile from that place since I moved to JoCo just over 4 years ago and have never been there.

Took the wifey to Casa Carbone for her birthday on Saturday. It was awesome as usual. It has not changed in 18 years. Love that place!
