Taxi

I have seen a bunch of taxis around Clayton lately. Did a taxi service start here, or is it just a coincidence?

 

Noticed them more in Smithfield when I was out there.

 

Actually at one of the town meetings I attended a few months back there was a guy petitioning for a permit to operate a taxi service in Clayton. It was approved upon the basis the vehicle was inspected and passed by the Town of Clayton Police Department.

Clayton has a taxi serice that is licensed now, but it is owned and operated out of Garner.
