I am looking for a complete collection of a tv show on dvd. When I look at places like Best Buy,Walmart and others they are selling it for $200-400, but when I Google what I am looking for there are some web sites that I have never heard of that are selling the same thing for $60-90. BIG DIFFRENCE!!! So, have any of ya'll ever bought DVD's from these off the wall websites!?!?! Or is there one that you can recommend??? ( some that I am looking at are DVD Donkey, TV Addicts,Sell.com etc etc)
Wow! I know, I want really bad the Sex in the City box set but I just can't bring myself to spend 199.99 on 20 disc. And another one I want is all of Friends seasons. But just season 10 is 70 bucks! It does have some sort of game to it, but still. Each season is running about $27 plus tax and if you buy all 10 then that's going to be nearly 300. I would guess the reason for the big price difference is that maybe those on that site are used? :?
I have several friends that purchase their box sets from www.columbiahouse.com, seems to be very pleased with them.
I have (and do) order from this site, they are legit.... http://www.thedvdplanet.org/product.php?productid=211705
sounds like you found what you were looking for, but ebay can be a great place to find stuff like this way, way cheaper than retail. just buy from somebody who has a boatload of auctions and an even bigger load of feedback. i've bought sets from a couple of different places that had way over 10,000 positive feedbacks and had no problems.
i looked and couldnt find anything under 150.00 which wasnt but i was still out for a deal i just placed my order with the one that kellbell suggested and it should be here by dec 3rd is what my order said! hooray!!
and I sincerely hope that this is not for your significant other so that you may be subjected to any of those 190 episodes....GAWD....
I live it, why watch it? (with a Dear Fiance' and twin 11 year old boys, who needs stooges, eh?) teehee
