GPD has about 40, Wake SO about 100 and RPD in almost every car. NCSHP has alot also. Johnston County depts. may lack funds but grants and asset forfeitures keep Wake County law enforcement stocked with all the latest gadgets.

I am talking about smaller municipal offices like Creedmoor, Butner, Oxford, Louisburg, Bunn, Rocky Mount, Elizabeth City...etc. You get my point. If this was a Jo Co Sheriff...Chances are he prolly doesn't have this. Unless his only duty is Traffic Control. I remember us having an old Caprice Classic from the early 80's to do traffic control with. It had a V6. We got our first Crown in the early 90's. It was a hand me down from the SO.
