First part of the week, from bed to shower to desk. Second part of the week, about 400+ miles of driving.
I hate that too... that's why I make sure kiddo is by the road EVERY MORNING... I really don't understand why other parents can't keep up. I won't let him be that kid who lolly gags to the bus like he's got a world of time.
This is interesting to see where everyone commutes. I have often wonder "where is everyone going?" Sorry, I left off Garner for you Garner commuters. Zoo, if you ever need bail money let me know.
i just recently got into the commuting thing again:evil: From Cleveland to 64 in Raleigh after working 5 years within 5 minutes of my home. Hey Tassy, maybe we are close - wanna do lunch some day?
My DH did the Clayton to Greensboro for 3 years...ugggg! Now he's Clayton to wherever...yesterday he went to Florence, SC for the day, last week he was in Florida, Hilton Head, SC, etc. plus he's also got all the stores here in Raleigh too!
Polenta area to McGees Xroads(Rt. 50/210)--teacher. A nice, pretty country drive in the a.m. and afternoon with my daughter who also attends McGees. About 10 minutes each way with no traffic at all. It will be 15 minutes each way when we move this spring to the Cleveland/S. Clayton area....but on the back roads, it will still be a nice, uncongested ride.
Cleveland School to RTP for the last 13 years. It was much easier before the children were in school when I could leave very early and return home early in the afternoon.
