I am so infuriated with what happened last night at the WJ basketball game! The dance team was supposed to perform at half time and the "sound man", could not get the music to work. It was so embarrassing for the team and the dance teacher. Things happen I understand BUT the same thing happened at the pep rally and it has happened at some of the football games. I don't know this firsthand but was told he could care less about the dance team and their program and all he cares about is the basketball team. These girls have worked on these dances hard with practices during the week. They had family members to come see and support them last night and waited 2 hours for nothing. The girls were soo upset. The dance team is new and is treated like a sport. They have to get physicals and keep their grades up just like any other sport. They will be going competion as well soon. I just want to blow off steam because no one is taking them seriously. Alot of work and money has gone into this. I think they need a new sound man!!!!!
Or with the vast technology out there, you could bring your own boom box. The portable music devices.
well, they went to find a boom box and ran out of time..I say get it right for goodness sake so this doesn't keep happening.
Well since it seems to be a trend, be more prepared next time so they don't have any excuses to "push" y'all aside. That way they have no choice but for y'all to show them what the cheer leading squad is missing out on.

Oooookay... ...but for the record I hold my drill team years near and dear to me heart. We made the Cheerleaders eat their hearts out! :twisted:
