Anyone else in the McGee's area smell the smoke. Something in the area is burning. Smoke lingered all down old fairground and ennis, towards 50. Wow, take my breath away when I walk out on the portch.

Anyone know anything. We rode through the neighborhood thinking it was here but we dont see anything.

I dunno, but some asshat was burning their trash in my neighborhood this morning, under the cover of fog. That's alright... I'll find them.

I smelled it, too. Acually, there was a rather strong stench in Angier as well.

I don't think 50/210 had any calls in that area today. Could it be that the heavy fog was trapping the smoke/odor from folks burning their fireplaces?

I noticed that 50/210 area looked smoky when I came home around 5:30 today.

It didnt smell like fireplaces, it smelled like burning plastic or rubber. Bad on the nose.

Maybe someone was burning plastic in their fireplace.

I smelled it too. Took the dogs outside just after dark and came back in telling DH that is smelled like someone had been lighting those stink bomb thingies. There was a thick cloud of smoke outside too. Wonder what it was? :?

It was more of an electrical burning smell.

We smelled it also on Wed. when we were driving around the area looking for a house to buy. But by the time we got home(Polenta area)----we did not smell it anymore. So it was pretty much confined to the MCgees/Angier area.
