Anyone know how to get ink out of leather?

My son got his hands on a pen, and now I have ink marks all over my leather sofa. Anyone know how to get it out? I remember a couple years ago I found something online to try, but I can't find it now and it's really bugging me!

 

Magic Eraser works on my stuff.

 

Vaseline?
WD-40?
saddle soap?

 

hairspray may be worth a try to. I know it gets ink out of clothes.
