Has anyone been to this? From what I can tell, its a sleigh ride with a visit to Santa and a small candy shop. $8 for adults and $5 for kids.

    Is this worth the money?

I'm curious about this too. We'll probably go this weekend if it's not too cold.

4 and under are free, its about a 30 minute hay ride and its pretty cool for the kids. ds loved it and so did I then you can visit with Santa afterwards and go in the small candy shop. I thought it was great but I love Christmas so thats my 2 cents...

I'd like to know more.... Like, is it just a smaller version of Meadow lights and closer to home? Their train ride (at Meadow) is what... $2? But we spent almost $40 for CANDY!

Thats what I was thinking too! We really enjoyed the Meadow lights! Thats why I'm trying to figure out if I went to spend $20+ for a hayride....

(We got away with only $12 on candy...after we walked around four times trying to decide on what to get and what to put away! lol)

I don't know if you all have heard but this is going on this Thursday night. We've never been before and were thinking about going, is it worth it? I didn't know if a lot of people go, or if it's just a couple folks roaming around...I think they have free Santa photos with kids, free hot cocoa, cookies, games...

For the price they are charging for admission, the santa photos better be free! Santa better scoot over, I want my $9 picture too! :D

Better sit on the left side cause the driver was eating up the bushes on the right side of the trail. A few people got smacked with tree branches!

I was disappointed in Meadow last year. Its not that expensive, but I'm not really sure it's worth the drive down there. I'm definitely open to something new this year.

We went last yr and it was so darn cold, but I thought it was worth it..and the music and the lights play together, I was accually sad when it was over. My daughter loved it. I liked it much better then Meadows, but the candy was great at Meadows lol.

We went last year. If you have little ones they will enjoy the hayride. The only thing for us was that the Santa was a woman and my daughter noticed. We did take our photo with Santa and my daughter was upset because Santa kept calling her a little boy even though her hair is down to her butt. Overall my daughter enjoyed it. We usually go to see the Meadow lights but this was closer only 2 miles down the road.

That's irony right there. A female Santa that can't tell a little girl from a little boy.

It was their first year. ;) We didn't make it last year and I am half a mile from there! DS is making us go this year. I just hope it's not cold. We've been to Meadow Lights twice, it's nice, but not worth the drive in my opinion.

We went Sat night and had a good time. The weather was perfect for the hayride. It was a little pricey at $21 for 2 adults & one 6 year old but it was worth it. It was much better than the train ride at Meadow.
