Want to get a Garmin for x-mas. What would you suggest. There are so many I don't know which one to choose.,,, Pros and Cons? Your experience with it. Thanks!

Have had mine for two weeks now and love it, sometimes they get confused with road construction or recently changed roads, but nothing I couldn't figure out.

The following site allows you to compare devices I have the nuvi 200w

We just got the Garmin nuvi 350, LOVE IT! It was a xmas present from my mother. She suggested it, and then told me to go and buy the one I wanted, within her price range. I found the Nuvi 350 was going to be on sale on Black Friday at Circuit City for $299 as a 2-day Sale. So I bought it the Tuesday before, and then went back over the weekend and requested the difference back according to their own Price Guarantee.

Anyways... took it with us to Savannah, GA this weekend and it was great. It does "text to speech" so it actually says street names, not just "turn in 200 feet". It will say, " Turn in 200 feet on Abercorn Rd.". You can download stuff from Mygarmin.com for it (I haven't gotten that far yet). It has enough memory to download mp3's and photos to it. It can play audiobooks that you can download. It also has a memory card slot, so that she can hold even more files, on her own she can old 750mb(i think), and then up to 2gb more on an expansion card. I compared a bunch, and she had the best features for the money in my opinion. I also read alot of sites where customers left reviews on it, and the average rating was a 4.5 out of 5 stars. It's very easy to work, touch screen and menus are easy to work with.

    good luck in your search!!

Sounds great, unfortunately I was with my Boss when I bought mine so I did not get one with all the extra bells and whistles.

Tassy,,we loves us some Savannah...and in a perfect world, my GPS would say, it's 930 pm, turn right 200 feet off Abercorn to the Krispy Kreme, the Hot Light is on...enjoy...
