Ok, I cant say no... but there is a beautiful shepherd in a shelter a few hours a way and I really want to save her. She is not spayed and is heart worm positive, but they say super sweet and knows basic commands. Her owner got deployed... She looks like a show dog... I will email her picture to someone to post... I am computer illiterate... I SOOO wish I could keep her. I am going to get her next week, and would love to find her forever home.

No, no, I don't have a fence, and I'm not sure Sheba would allow her in the house! Yeah, sure, she can come on our walks - you hold the leash and I'll push the stroller!
Have you talked to german shepherd rescue? http://www.gsdrescue.org/ Maybe they can help foster her, or find her a home, if you're willing to help ... she's BEAUTIFUL!!
A rescue group took her!! I am sort of sad... I was hoping no one would take her and I would have to keep her. But it all works out like it should. Thanks everyone.
I'm glad she's being taken care of. Does her previous owner know? It must have been hard to be deployed and have to leave her behind. and another shepherd needing a home will show up when the time is right for you.
German shepherds ("germies") are my favorite breed ... sort of 51/49 with australian shepherds ("aussies") ... it's so very hard not to take them all in, but my own kids keep me too busy and too broke for any more. I dont know how you all do it, with fostering and adopting, and rescuing ... I admire you all so much!! I'm glad she's in a rescue. They'll make sure she's safe and taken care of. Thanks for looking out for her!
