I was going to have the surgery in Cary at (I forgot the name) any way I had my tubes tied & then burned. I was advised the same thing not to have it done b/c I was too young. Anyway we had everything set for surgery & the last thing they have to do is check the new hubby out. Make sure that all is good b4 otherwise it is a waste. Well could not have surgery hubby did not have (it). I do know two other people that were in the same position as me from this area. They both had it done & both had babies within 6 months after surgery. We all went to that same place in Cary off of tryon road The cost for mine would have been $6500.00 Insurance would not cover me

Good luck!! They say the longer you wait over the age of 35 the harder it is

Whew, I had mine done a couple of years ago. We've got two girls and I wanted to have my children before I was 30 and did. My DH and I are just too fertile and we were afraid I'd get pregnant even though we were extra careful, and we didn't want any mistakes, as the two I have are planned. Needless to say, at 35 I decided to get it done, so I wouldn't have to worry anymore, and stop taking birth control. It was definitely the right decision for my family.

Good luck with whatever decision you make.

Right after having baby kookoo last year I got spay before I left the hospital with her. When she was about 4 or 5 months old hubby looks at me with this sweet look while I was nursing her and says he wants another one. I told him too f'n bad, Bucko, I gave you a son and a daughter. The End.

We settled on adopting if the feeling strikes him again. And if by chance I trade hubby in on a newer model, I'll tell that fella too bad as well. You give birth if your so bad. I ain't having no mo.

I begged for a tubal when MM was born. I was 18 and the Dr said NO WAY!

So now I'm glad I didn't do it.

However, we're done. 2 is enough for us, and if it isn't, we'll adopt later.

DH is going to get nuetered.

I had a tubal at age 24 in june of this year. I also went into heart failure with my one and only son and was told that another may very well kill me....one was good! As for the reversal, hopefully I never have a need for one!
