    Finally snagged a wii...

...or at least my dear, sweet mother did.

Target in Wake Forest had some early this morning and a cousin called mama who went straight over and was #43 in line.

Not sure how many they had total, but at least they had 43 of them.

Now, we'll see if all the hoopla was worth it, come Christmas Eve night when we open presents.

Congrats! Did that when mine was young one time and have never done it since. It will be worth it on Christmas morning, you are a good dad.

I would suggest that you use all your time and find Obama. then you can pretty much have whatever you want. You'll be rich and famous. and if you just happen to mention on Letterman or Hardball that you really want a wii I'm willing to bet someone will give you one. New in the box.

You know which newsguy I'd want to cover my story if I snagged Obama?

I'd call Charlie Gaddy, former WRAL anchor and give it to him.

He was and still is my favorite newscaster.

I got a chance to talk to him recently at Sheriff John Baker's funeral and he said he had a ball with the reunion newscast he did with all the others from Channel 5 - Bob D (the biggest name in weather, Bobbie Battista, and Tom Suiter.

I liked ole Charlie a lot too. And Bob Debardelaben -- my middle son had hair like Bob's when he was a little baby.

    This is interesting... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WRAL-TV

Oh and congrats, Kent, on getting that Wii before Christmas!

I'll bet you $10 that display is all EMPTY Wii boxes.

They are just not out there. If you find one for list price in the next couple of days- buy it and you can easily make $100 (or more) by reselling it on Craigslist.

C'mon guys- Obama = democrat presidential candidate
    Osama = taliban terrorist

You're right, I should have caught that.

    Love playing the Wii!

DD beats me most of the time like a rented mule!

I'm sore from all the swimming, boxing, running, jumping, and batting I'm having to do.

I can see why alot of senior citizens centers are getting Wii's. Lots of movement.

Amazing what "they" can put in a tiny little box.

My Dear Daddy & step mom were up till 1am Wii bowling last night. They are now Wii nuts. They rearranged the TV room to look like a bowling alley.

    They are loving it.

It is great excersise. You really MOVE.
