I need sausage balls to bring to work. Does anyone know of a bakery who makes these that would have them ready for pick up on my way to work? I know they are ez to make but I would rather buy them. Thanks!

People will eat just about any part of a pig, I saw ears and feet the other day, but this beats them!

Not sure, but there's a Q-pon for Stouffer's brand (I'll share mine with you). Throw em in the oven and you're done. Cheaper than buying.

Thanks Harley, that would be great. I made the frozen kind last year and everyone thought they were homemade and of course I never let on. I may do that again. Just calls me LAZY when it comes to cooking!

    my recipe is similar....

    1 cup of Bisquick
1 1/2 cup of sharp shredded cheese
1 tube of Jimmy Dean HOT Sausage

mix together well, with hands, then roll into balls (about the size of a gumball) and bake on 350 for 10 minutes. YUM.

slightly different....sausage and cheese biscuits, not balls

make biscuits as usual. roll out into a rectangle as best you can. spread a layer of 1 pound cooked crumbled sausage, then a layer of 1 pound of shredded cheddar cheese (preshredded sucks. needs to be freshly shredded).

then, ROLL. kinda like a cinnamon roll or something. then, cut 1 inch slices and bake per biscuit instructions

not as easy as the balls. they're prepared more like a meatloaf, imho. the swirls are harder to do and might even take a little practice, but definitely worth it

Man...that sounds good! I wonder if adding some crumbled bacon would taste good in there, too?

I use hot sausage as well and it adds some yummy flavor!
