still, "register early" doesn't say to me "you'll get to play early" that just doesn't sound right. webbie puts info up everywhere about "starting tuesday", then there's a secret club with secret links? i smell a rat at the very least, not a fairly done contest. tell people when it starts, then start it early for a select few who happened to find a secret link? not a federal case, but still not cool
It was posted on the Wii Ad...that was flashing over here to the right of our message area, for two or three days last week, you could 'click to register to scratch early'.....
get outta here. shows how much attention i pay to the sidebar ads. i saw the ad, even saw it on the home page, but never noticed the early thing.
Hi folks - yes, to confirm, the Wii has been won in the Scratch n' Win contest. The winning card was pulled at 2:28am this morning! Remember, it is a game of chance and the software generates the numbers randomly. It would be entirely possible for the first card to be a winner, or it could take thousands of cards before the winning one comes up. (In this game it happened to occur after 2,241 cards were played.) As for the early players on Monday - we ran promo ads on the sidebar and also on the front page for a week prior encouraging signups to our Local Updates for first information about this specific contest. Over the years we have provided "first notice" information on contests and other specials through our Updates list. Our Local Updates are usually sent out several times a month, or more often when we have a special event or contest running. Thanks to our players and congratulations to the winner - will have another Scratch n' Win contest running again shortly!
Dang! I just signed on to try to play, and I never got a chance. Darn. Oh well. Congrats to the winner!
Well no, there was info on registering early, if you missed it that is your fault, not webbies. When you register they send you a email telling you about the secret link, but you had to register. Sorry you miss it. Sheri
 I have to get my coffee first before doing anything else. Brain doesn't function well without it.
i guess i just read this thread and thought that's all there was to it. honestly i don't hit the main page often, and i rarely bother to look at sidebar ads.
HA! Watch your back Ken! That's NO match for a Mommy lookin for a Wii for her boy for Christmas. Think..."Jingle all the Way"8) j/k:lol:
