Nope.... that was all I heard through the grapevine, just that they were already closing their doors. I did hear it came from someone who has helped them out with cooking in both locations (the old I Love My Bar, and Maggies).

SB... they have some new wing flavors, and they also have boneless wings now too. Those are on special on Tuesday nights for 45 cents each. Great for dinner with one of their loaded baked potatoes! (ps...SB... the waitress you love to hate, is at the new Adam & Eve now... just an FYI, incase you go in there)

PG... that was probably Chris, there are only 2 guys, and you ruled out one. Chris is a doll.

too bad. we try to support locals as much as possible. can't be easy to keep a new place like that open. you'd have to be able to have a year's worth of operating capital up front i'd guess. location certainly wasn't an issue. maybe curb appeal? awareness?

Damn, and I was looking forward to Adam and Eve, of course I'll go, but will not buy anything from her :)

New wing flavors, yum. Are their boneless wings as good as the regular? I love their hot and mild wings!

It was just different from the ODS that most of us knew and loved. I didn't like it when the door facing 42 was sealed off and the windows were painted black, also the old crowd loved playing pool and the tables were moved out, so I heard. It used to be a good place to go after work with many good friends. Maggie's just never felt the same and they definitly didn't have Angie (the best bartender) behind the bar. I'm still sorry to see if fail.

Atleast shes not at Locked & Loaded anymore!

I like their boneless wings, nice white meat (like George Kostanza's butt..LOL), not overly breaded... I like them. The new sauces are...

Thai (something) - Its kind of a thai, peanut flavor... not particularly my favorite.

Irish Gold ... a mus-My Friend based sauce

Chipotle BBQ - That one is good!

THen the rest that they've had... hot, seasoned, & carribean...

Actually i cannot remember, the last time we went in there was the night the bill was so outrageous with no itemizing - have not been back since. We never went to the other side (the bar side) cause it was pretty much closed, no bartender available.

I was just in there the other day and the owner, Tommy, had not said anything about closing the doors. He was talking about the summer months and opening up the beer garden and such. I don't think they would close the doors that quickly. Might want to check your sources before you start spreading a rumour that could ruin their business. That's not cool.

i agree with you. some people on here like to stir up trouble without checking their facts first.

I gotta say that any small business owner is not just going to come out and say "hey, by the way we are closing". They'd want to keep the revenue coming in and such. Well, unless it's a furniture store and they want to sell everything dirt cheap. I don't know. I have not been there only becuase it's 40 million miles away. :-(

Well.. it came from one of their kitchen staff.. so maybe he should hire more reliable help. I just said what I heard, and even said where I heard it from. Since when is 4042 NOT the local rumor-mill. Hows that Six Flags Over Clayton coming along???
    :?

Well, that is when I would go to the owner and let them know what I heard. With a business like that, if you ware in the hole, there is not a good way to bail yourself out so staying open while trying to fill the hole is not a good idea. All you are doing is digging a deeper hole.

As for the Six Flags.....where the heck did that come from?
