I am looking for the exact recipe for Golden Corral's macaroni and cheese. I have Googled until my fingers and eyes are sore. Can anyone help this frayed mom?

Why not ask? You'd be surprised that sometimes they'll give you an answer. You could e-mail them. Also, I'm not sure if they are open to walk-ins, but their HQ is on Glenwood west of Crabtree.

Thanks. We are getting ready to head out and I want to pick up the items. I will email them and get it for another time, if they will give it.

I used to work for Golden Corral. It is Ms. Stouffers Mac & Cheese. Yep. You can buy it at any grocery store. Shocked me but you can see the containers clear as day. Unless they changed it from 2003, that's what it is. Go to the frozen foods where you see the Lasagna and next to it should be their mac & cheese as well. It is good. I was just as shocked to learn that as I was to learn that Pizza Hut(used to work w/ them) & Taco Bell's "steak" tacos/pizzas were actually made of venison! Ahh, the secrets of the fast food restaurants--LOL.

    Anyhow, hope that helped.

Doesn't surprise me that it's Stouffer's, that is exactly what it tastes like to me. :)

Just want people to make sure they know that I made the comment about Pizza Hut & the steak pizzas based on years & years ago. It could VERY easily have changed. I mean this was back in my college days & early after. About 1995. So anything could have changed in 12 years. I'm just going by what they told the staff & what was written on some boxes. Just thought I'd put that disclaimer in there as I have not been associated w/ this organization for over 12 years.

    Got to go. Happy eating!

You can check out the ingredient lists at both of these companies and they don't mention venison. It doesn't matter to me though, because I eat neither.

Why? GC is really no worse than any other place in the area.

Ate there three times over a number of years and was underwhelmed, while not great I would rather eat at Ryan's.

How about GC's Ceasar salad dressing. I have wasted a lot of money trying every brand but I can't find but one that tastes like GC's. My son always says that's because it's not ceasar.
