Christmas day we found an orange kitten (about 10-12 weeks old) in a Lowes Foods parking lot. She was very friendly and undernourished. Long story short we ended up bringing her home with intentions to take her to the shelter today. She rode two hours with my girls' taking turns holding her and did very well on the trip. The shelter is closed today but we will take her tomorrow if we cannot find her a home before then. Our dogs are not cat friendly and we cannot keep the kitten.
