If one wants to let us know about a new store and pretty much advertises it, one should understand that on the Tab "Advertise on 4042.com" one will get better coverage and it will help keep our local forum up and running.

By doing what you have just done it will pretty much put a sour taste in everyone's mouth.

Technically... isn't that the same thing as spam... just instead of Get your free computer! it's just nicer advertising? ...

    Spam Casserole

    Serves/Makes: 6

    Ingredients:
1 pound macaroni or egg noodles
1 can (12 oz. size) Spam
    1 pound Cheddar cheese
    Onion to taste
    Mrs. Dash to taste
    Salt and pepper to taste
    Garlic powder to taste
1 can (12 oz. size) evaporated milk
1 can cream of mushroom soup
Turn this recipe into a puzzle! [click]

    Directions:

Cook macaroni. Meanwhile in large greased casserole or glass mixing bowl, combine all other ingredients. Add cooked and drained macaroni. Sprinkle top with bread crumbs and grated cheese. Also dot top with butter or margarine. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees F.

It is different if someone asks for suggestions on a hair stylist or someone to fix a computer. It is totally different when the Thread's title is misleading. And, yes, when advertising one should follow the rules.

I find it offensive that you state to someone that "they will rip you a new one". We are a great group of people but we want people to not have misleading Threads and to follow the rules. Do we break the rules sometimes? Yes, and when we do we correct the error and move on.

I checked for OP's posts when I first saw that one, before anybody replied, and it was the only one that came up. He/she joined in 2004, maybe all their other posts have been archived and that's why they don't come up.
