Good job Dangerboy - you beat me to it I have an IT guy in house (well in Clayton) Gotta love friends who can work on my computers for FREE!
If one wants to let us know about a new store and pretty much advertises it, one should understand that on the Tab "Advertise on 4042.com" one will get better coverage and it will help keep our local forum up and running. By doing what you have just done it will pretty much put a sour taste in everyone's mouth. Grace
Technically... isn't that the same thing as spam... just instead of Get your free computer! it's just nicer advertising? ... [click] Directions: Cook macaroni. Meanwhile in large greased casserole or glass mixing bowl, combine all other ingredients. Add cooked and drained macaroni. Sprinkle top with bread crumbs and grated cheese. Also dot top with butter or margarine. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees F.
oh god buddy, I did this once in response to a hair stylist and they will rip you a new one..... better have them just take down the thread......play by the rules and if you don't know them like I didn't, go read them.....I hate it for ya.......
I was doing that but webbie was doing too good of a job deleting the (obvious)spam posts ... lmao. I'm glad some one finally got to see my funny.
It is different if someone asks for suggestions on a hair stylist or someone to fix a computer. It is totally different when the Thread's title is misleading. And, yes, when advertising one should follow the rules. I find it offensive that you state to someone that "they will rip you a new one". We are a great group of people but we want people to not have misleading Threads and to follow the rules. Do we break the rules sometimes? Yes, and when we do we correct the error and move on. Grace
Aw bummer, i missed getting to fuss at a new advertiser on the board:lol::lol::lol: Guess i really missed it cause it said there were 12 posts by the OP but nothing comes up
I checked for OP's posts when I first saw that one, before anybody replied, and it was the only one that came up. He/she joined in 2004, maybe all their other posts have been archived and that's why they don't come up.
