New Pizza Hut in Smithfield about to open

we went to Pizza Hut last night (DS gets coupons as rewards in school).

They told us the new Pizza Hut (which is built right next to the old one on Brightleaf) is scheduled to open the 2nd week of January.

It's much larger, and has a drive thru.

 

WOW!

Chain pizza. (aka: frozen). Get it from a mom-n-pop shop. (but then pizza in this neck of the woods seriously leaves things to be desired.)

Back in the day, the Hut was great for hangin'. Other than that, I have not been to one in years. Folks around here do seem to prefer it for chain pizza though.

holy crap people. its a pizza hut. the topic says "new pizza hut". In fact, those are most likely the very words you clicked on to see this thread. Did you honestly expect to find something OTHER than information about a pizza hut? If so, why do you expect anyone to care about your opinion on pizza huts half as much as they would care about a new pizza hut in a thread titled "NEW PIZZA HUT IN SMITHFIELD ABOUT TO OPEN"? Also its a forum. it sorts by most recent post... so if you respond to something to say you don't care, you bump it to the top for everyone else to see. Thats what i like to do with things i don't care about. show everyone how little i care, by keeping it glued to the front. GG.

Well, I like that type of info. When something is opening etc. If you don't like Pizza Hut don't go to the link about pizza hut.

I really like Pizza Hut deep dish and that cheese crust pizza, so sue me. And I have been to the original Gino's East in Chicago and like that too.

 

So?? If you don't like it, don't click on it! I for one, am absolutely sick to death of pizza and fast food snobs (& thread snobs for that matter) :roll: If you don't like it, don't eat there, and hush about it! Problem solved just as simple as that!

I really like Pizza Hut's pizza...beats the heck outta' Pizza Inn's excuse for a pizza!

 

When it comes to the chains (and buffets), I like CiCi's for their variety. That is when they've actually got a variety on their bar. I've been a number of times to the Clayton location and they have people stalking the bar waiting for something new to get placed. The Smithfield and Wilson locations are better.

As for take-out chains, I'd rather have Papa Johns.

 

I use to love Pizza Hut. That was the place to go after the highschool football game. I don't care for them anymore.
