TY He was THE best puppy and grew up to be a GREAT dog! He's my heart - such a special soul he has.

I wish I had a scanner so I could scan in a pic of Shelby when she was a little but nugget.

I love playing 'guess the breed' ... it's fun seeing how the young'uns grow up!

I have to agree with Zoo; not seeing Chow in this cutie. Looks a lot like my parents' dog when she was a puppy, and she's a German Shepherd mix / mutt thingie; loveable ol' fluff ball.

(Black tongue spots can occur with lots of breeds. I had a pure Golden once who had a great big spot on her tongue. Chows tend to have a bluish hue in the whole mouth and tongue area.)

Well, let me throw in my 2 cents... I think the pup looks a lot like my Jessie did when she was a pup... and she was part chow. Whatever the case, what a beautiful pup!

    (and welcome back, Snuff.)

I agree - I hope the OP will post new pics every now and then so we can see how the pup grows up! :-D

Hey, Keeper. Thanks, it's nice to see how the lo' cyberhood is doing. Have you gotten another dog?

Thanks to all of you for the replies. I'll try to get a full body picture one of these days, it is just hard as he is always moving :). Guess I am just going to have to wait a little longer and see how he grows. I'll keep ya posted.
