I want to buy a plastic sled for my son, in case we have snow here. Last year, we had one day of snow and my son got all upset for watching other kids riding their own sled since he doesn't have one. Didn't want that happen to him again.

Since we don't actually have any snow in the area I would suggest ordering one off of the internet.

They have them at Bed Bath and Beyond in Cary, at Crossroads. Right as you go in the door. Linens and Things used to carry them too. Give them a call.

    Good Luck!

And if you've got the dough, you can buy the snow! http://snowmyyard.com/default.htm

A fool and their money are soon parted.... and then their snow melts.

Don't you think $5000 for 5 tons of Christmas Eve snow was a good deal?

Did you notice that it is a Raleigh company?

Ok, that is pretty cool. At least that snow won't melt in a couple of hours.

I was wondering what the 10 tons would look like... It's 32 X 40 with a little 3 foot hill in the center? And that poor girl on the cardboard box. LMAO. Ghetto Fabulous! They could not afford the sled after the summer snow extravaganza!!

Usually, these small town hardware dealers have the periodically throughout the winter. I wouldn't be at all surprised if you might could get one through Hudson's Hardware. Heck, they may have some in stock. You might also try Toys 'R Us in Cary.

    Food Lion in BENSON

Cake - I have seen the sleds in Food Lion in Benson. Not sure how much they are but have to think they are cheaper than Toys 4 us (that is what my nephew called this when he was little!!)

If you go through main street in Benson and take a right at Mcdonalds the Food lion is in the shopping center behing mcdonalds (you will have to take another left beside the McDonalds to enter the shopping Center. There is a Pizza Hut and a Family Dollar in that shopping Center as well! Good Luck!

I saw some at the Food Lion at 40/42. They were up on top of the display where the cheese is, along the wall.
