I must have missed an inside joke somewhere. A big Shih Tzu?

Yep, that's for real. Same with the English bulldog they typically run anywhere from $1,200 to $4,000 depending on the bloodline, etc.

I told DH after my bully and boxer pass, I'm going to get me a French...they are smaller than the English, and I want a little smaller dog. I also told him I'm going to get a Sphynx, which are very expensive hairless cats...like $1,000 to $1,500!

Once my babies pass, I'm probably not getting another animal for a while. My girls said they want a toy chihuahua, long hair...heck they are expensive too, like $1,000 to $1,500 for a quality line.

I've spent so much money on my 4 legged babies in the last 10 years...with their cost and then medical cost, so I will probably take a break from pet ownership.

I want one of those allergy-free cats. Do they come in Maine Coon? Ziggy needs a playmate and the neighborhood cats need their ***** kicked.

I just cannot fathom paying that much for an animal. I could buy a decent car for that.

I'm not saying you wouldn't spend good money on vet care, etc.., but to buy an animal for $2500? I'm in the wrong damn business then.

For a mere fraction of the cost of a puppy from a breeder, you can make your dreams come true! http://www.frenchbulldogrescue.org/htdocs/available.html

Look at Gia in NC... pretty girl!!

I know if I ever get any other animals (knowing I will...I love my babies)....I'll look into a rescue.

I've thought about for a long time, when I retire opening a bully rescue in this area.

Funny you mention that - I already have a name for my business. I can't tell anyone until I do it.

I've told everyone to go to the shelter or a rescue group to get a pet. Why pay top $ when you can rescue?

Shelb's a mix Chow and has been the BEST dog EVER. I couldn't have asked for a more loyal, protective dog. (I thought she was gonna eat the hot water heater guy yesterday)

French bulldogs can be blonde? Huh. :?

Are the blondies dumber than the black and white ones?:)
