FYI - When leaving McGees McDonalds today I noticed a note on the door. It will be closed from 10 PM tomorrow night and until (not sure if including) the 17th for construction. Drive-through will still be open. Does anyone know what type of construction they will be doing?

Not to be critical, but it's a McDonalds.............Who Cares??????

Probably so they can install the coffee bar that they are adding to McD's.

Now that's funny......yeah, when I think good coffee, I think.....McD's? nah, there's just something wrong about getting my grande skim mocha latte with 2 splendas and no whip at the same place I get my fries. :)

Theres one up on Falls of Neuse Rd. that has a McCafe in it for atleast 2 years now. They do the latte, capuccinos, etc....decent sandwich wraps, pastries...i've been in it a few times. The one at the 70/401 Split near Lowes in Garner is also a McCafe now, isn't it?

from one redhead to another, I have to agree 100%. I would find it odd getting my Tall, Non Fat Skinny Mocha, no whip, from McDonalds...however, I will give it a try when the 'challenge' begins.

It is most likely to add on to the place to add the McCafe. I am surprised they are doing that so early since it still relatively a new store. Usually the older stores has first dibs if the owner elects to do it
