What can you all tell me about Carolina Mobile Spay. I have 8 rescues that I have appointments for on Monday and just want to hear some feed back on some experiences with them. I have 7 pups and mom. Has anybody ever used them? Im just kinda nervous about it. Thanks for any help/advice you can give me.

If it's the same one that came to the parking lot of Family Home and Garden in Clayton on Amelia church Road, then yes I used them about 5 years ago and they were great. You'd have to figure into the fact that the same vet operates this program and didn't sell out her practice, then I'd recommend her. Also had the last puppy we got fixed and taken care of with SNAPS which is a mobile vet hospital that provides the same services. Good luck.

The name of the vet is Dr. Flood. Is that who you remember inthebuff ?
It is the one in Clayton that parks in the lot.

I used them several years ago and found nothing but positives. I also have several friends that work for various rescue groups. They both use and recommend Carolina Mobile Spay.

My MIL has had her boy-kitty spayed through them, and had nothing but good things to say. She was even able to bring him back the following year to schedule his rabies, distemper, shots, etc. for a reasonable price.

I used them for the SnuffDog last May because it was less expensive than getting it done at a Vet. He was already a big dog by that time, and they accomodated him just fine. They did a very professional job and let me know everything I needed to know to care for him afterward. Only problem is that the dogs had to be picked up at 2:00 p.m., which turned out to be a little early for the SnuffDog. He was still under the influence of the anesthesia and was stumbling all over the place. I hadn't planned to take off from work because I thought I could pick him up later in the day, so that caused some problems. Overall, it's a great service, relatively inexpensive and they do great work. Two paws up from me.

I brought both of my cats there last year. WONDERFUL service. It only cost me 120.00 for both of them to be spayed.

    LOVED them.

Love this vet!!!! We got a dog from some owners that just couldn't keep her anymore, she is a wanderer, and the only information we had was that this vet had done her last rabies shot. I scheduled an appointment and they still had all of her records from 2 years prior and were willing to tell me how horrible her life had been before she was saved by this family. They remembered her and were so glad to see she was doing so good. I love that practice, and would highly recommend them again.

I had an appointment to take our Pit up there. I took her and when they gave her the anesthesia, she had a cesar and they called me to go pick her up. They told me I could take her to the vet and make sure she had no heart problems. Once I got a clear bill of health, they would do the surgery. I took her to the vet and found out she did have a heart condition and they said she might not make it through surgery. Needless to say she didn't get fixed.

Now I have a mini pin that needs to get an appointment so he'll leave our pit alone. It's crazy to see a mini pin try to get it on with an American Pit Bull! Those would be some messed up looking dogs!

She had a CESAR? Like this one? [IMG]

I know you meant seizure, not cesar. Thanks for the giggle. [IMG]

I used them about a year ago to have my little cocker spaniel spayed. I actually asked for feedback about them on this forum and received the same positive comments. Dr. Flood did a wonderful job and even gave my baby her vaccines. All said and done, she had no complications and it was far less expensive than our vet would have charged. I recommend them highly!
