My sister did, about 3 years ago, said it was the best money she ever spent.... I would LOVE to be able to do it too.
A friend and I were just getting a kick out of this post (love the pictures!)...she said there's a place at Crabtree called The Brow Bar that specializes in eyebrows...haven't googled it yet...
yep! sis-in-law used to go there. I say use to b/c she swore by the place until they had some sort of overhaul of staff and she left the place with 1 and 1/2 eyebrows. She called to complain and they said they would redo for free. She told them she'll take her chances at growing them back and she would like to keep the 1 1/2 she had left.
It looks like Botanicals website is partially under construction, but you can get an idea from this link: http://botanicals2.com/service.aspx From what I understand, I inquired about having it done several years ago; most areas see success in 6-8 visits, areas that have been tweezed have more resistent hairs and can require more than 6 visits. Even after the initial visits are done, they suggest follow-up "maintenance" visits every few months for any stubborn, stray hairs, at approx. $50/visit. That was what I was told, maybe 2 years ago at Botanicals. I never followed through with it... $$$ went elsewhere instead.
i go here when i can find the time to get to crabtree -- they will take appointments or drop ins -- $20.00 -- do a really good job --
I called a couple of places and priced it a couple years ago. I think for hair everywhere, except your head and eyebrows (won't do because of permanent eye damage potential) it was a couple grand. So I'm talking about legs, privates, underarms and other areas where you may have hair. Like I said that was a couple of years ago, so it may be cheaper now that it is more common.
I could see where that would be wonderful and well worth the money too... but then again hubby and I wouldn't be able to do couples shaving anymore. But I sure would love to not have to shave anymore.
I have a scar in my left brow so mine are tricky to do! There is a nail place behind Smithfield's at 4042 that I have had good luck with!
If you haven't had your brows waxed before, make sure you get the skin patch test first. I had mine's for 1st time recently and man, my brow and forehead got really red and itchy so bad, so I decided no more and stick with tweezer.
