I am new here on this board and thought that I would put out some feelers to see who does your taxes. I don't think that I want to "attempt" to do mine this year and was thinking about Liberty Tax, Jackson Hewitt or H & R Block... anybody have any suggestions?

I used Turbotax one year and carried my taxes to an accountant. She told me she couldn't do any better than the program. I have stuck with it since then.
www.freetaxusa.com In NC, if you have below a certain amount, it's free. Otherwise it's 19.95 for state and federal. It is VERY user friendly. I've used this the last 4 years with zero problems. (I found out about it from the IRS website.)

Yes, they cost a bit more than Turbo Tax and H & R Block, but if you've ever been through an IRS audit (hubby was just before we got married) you don't want to take any chances - ever again. Between the business, investments and wanting to get every deduction legally possible, they suit our needs perfectly.
We've used Tammy Riddle at H & R Block on 42 for the past 4 years. She is awesome and very quick. Love her!
Tammy Riddle is who I suggest too, if you don't want to do them yourself. Tammy is a longtime friend and tax preparer for me for years.:mrgreen: However, I have used Turbo Tax for the last 3 years, it doesn't get much easier, and it saves the tax preparer's fee. (she understands )
