This is just another variation of the Nigerian Scam (wiki it if you want). It's very common and has been around for years. If you had gotten a check and sent the money back to them, along with your merchandise, the check would have bounced and you would have been out of your stuff and sitting on owing the money back to the bank.

 

I sincerely hope that wasn't directed at us natives. I'm almost willing to bet that there are more transplants on this board than natives.

No , Not towards anyone in particular.
I have been here since December 11th and have met some of the most pleasant, respectfull,honest hard working people in my life. I am not young so I have been around for a while. The people here in this state are the most wonderful caring people I have ever had the pleasure to meet.
I have lived in many differant states. This one is the BEST so far.
You guy's should be Proud to be here in this area ,as I am growing to realy enjoy 99.9 percent of the people that I have met so far.:hurray:
