Okay Folks, where can my hubby and I go to get some dancing lessons. My husband is white and... well... that just says enough about his dancing skills. We want to learn a variety of dances and styles. Now if there has already been a thread on this... TIA for you searching and posting it for me.:mrgreen:

Not white. Apparently you believe that your husband's ethnicity is related to his dancing ability and, since you didn't mention your own skin colour, I was merely wondering if you had the same ethnic flaw.

Yes, I am female. Awww, we were just funnin with ya Clif. You know how some people just seem more...well, "white"...meaning they seriously stick out like a sore thumb if they are in a group of black people and they try to talk "black" (like Mitt Romney did). Since you did not get what she was saying in the thread over there, we decided to tease you about being too "white" to get it. Grace got picked on too (but she is used to it, right Grace:lol It was not meant to hurt your feelings and I'm sorry if it did. I was just cuttin up a little. I understand what y'all were trying to do. It just didn't make sense. Sort of like telling my niece she throws like a girl. I didn't "get it" because a blank screen means nothing to me. All I saw was Steve's post as such: We Are All, Each Of Us, African Americans If we compare ourselves to Mitt Romney. Does that make sense to you? I presume there was more to it (such as a picture), whcih would have put it in context, but the company I work for blocks some or all of certain things (such as photobucket images, or things labeled as "entertainment"). My feelings certainly aren't hurt. As I said earlier, telling me I'm white is like telling my niece she throws like a girl. You can't make a joke out of a fact.
Oh yes, I knew you didn't "get it" becuase you could not view the link when it was finally given. You are pretty quick to "get" things here. Not sure if I can explain any further why the "you are so white..." thing is funny. You have to get past the "fact" part of it and I know that is not your nature. You are a fact driven man. Nothing wrong with that.:mrgreen: And actually, my boys tease my girls by telling them they "throw like a girl" all the time when they play ball together. And we all laugh because it not said in a mean way but just picking at your Sis way...to which the girls usually respond..."Oh yeah" and either zing another few words back at 'em or make a "liar" outta their brother by nailing them with the ball. It's all in fun and we all laugh. Really, they are correct about their Sis who would rather be in toe shoes. and P.S.
