Hi all! Can anyone tell me a good, effective exercise to do for the inner, upper thighs?? One that works for you (besides THAT one!) and especially for the highest part closest to the nether regions. I've done leg lifts, squats, and scissors and they have helped a lot but just looking for something that works any better than those. Thanks!
How did I know it would be guys who answer?? (Ha! Ha!) Trying to do things on my own. Can't afford a gym membership yet and trying to get in better shape for when I can afford it. Any thoughts?
Don't count the girls out yet. There busy right now watching the superbowl . I assume you are talking about the adductor area (http://www.exrx.net/Muscles/Adductors.html). If you have an exercise ball, or something similar( basketball), sit in a chair or lay on your back with your legs bent (90ish angle at knees). Put the ball between your knees and use your leg muscles to squeeze the ball. Try not to use your glutes. Change the angle of your knees to change the effect.
Wow! Thanks Tawiii!! I tried it and could definitely feel it! My dh said that if I do too many and have trouble walking tomorrow, to blame it on him, he needs the street cred!
try this set of exercises, especially slide #8 and #9...love this routine ( I don't have the kettle bell, just use a 5 pound hand weight) http://www.self.com/fitness/workouts/slideshows/2008/01/0121_bodybonus_slides Good Luck....
I know she is right? I'd like to slap her....LOL.....just like the gal in my Turbo Jam DVD....I could jack her up when she says, (as I am gasping for breath and sweatin like a pig) "Dont you feel good?" I hate her.
LOL, Cleo! Those things probably work but it's such an 80's icon, I could never own one! Tawiii's suggestion did work WELL, feel like I have been riding a horse this morning! Yee-haw dh!
