Just wondering where everyone goes to buy books at around here...Is there a Barnes & Noble or Borders anywhere near here?
I'm not a fan of buying online since I hate paying shipping..suggestions?

I'm guessing the B&N @ Triangle Towne Center is the closet.

Goodwill, Salvation Army, and thrift stores. Can always find more than enough to keep me busy.... but then again, I probably am the cheapest SOB on here!!! :)

    Amazon.com - don't order 'til you want at least $25 worth. ;)

We go to Barnes and Noble in Cary, South Point and Crabtree. When ordering online I use Amazon.com, they are great and KDs is correct that you should get a couple of books so shipping is free.

If anyone is looking for the smut books, you know he met her on the beach, blah, blah, blah...we have boxes full. My mother reads them all the time and friends of hers from different states mail them in boxes to her. I'd be delighted to give them to someone. In the summer I normally take them to our pool and the ladies grab them up but we are exploding.

Barnes & Noble's in Cary and there's also a Borders just to the right when you get off at South Hills Mall/ Crossroads exit. If you want to support independent book store owners, there's Quail Ridge Bookstore just off the Beltline on Wade Avenue. Ed McCay (sp?) in north Raleigh (Capital Blvd) is fun to poke around.

That's not smut Grace, those are just trashy romance novels.
