Okay I need suggestions where to go for a few days. My DH can't get his vacation yet so we would like to go away for a few days. We have an 11 year old boy so it has to be fun for him too. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks
Babysit? :lol: I'd call it *training* :mrgreen: That means that the kid cuts my grass, rakes leaves, picks up all the crap in the garage that's on the floor, vacuum, dust, sweep, mop, scooop the litter box AND get me a beer! :lol:
Hey if you can train him to do all that he'll be there next weekend. Then after your done with him I have 3 grand kids you can train. Then you can have my husband and train him too. So I will drop all of them off next weekend and come back for them at a later date much later. I will think of your training while I am on a beach sipping daiquairs (sp).

11 yr old boys bore easily. Mix it up for him. One day hit the NC aquarium down @ carolina beach and ride the ferry. If you have a 4x4 hit Freeman park for fishing. Come back that night and see the hubby, or its off season, so hotels are cheap. Next day, something else, etc.

Hey, we did the Carolina Beach, Fort Fisher Aquarium & Ferry ride with my 2 sons (age 6 at the time I think). We all really enjoyed it. I also have a friend who is a flight attendant. She has a layover in Durham & plans to have her husband bring their 2 sons (ages 8-10) to a hotel with indoor pool, spend the night & the next day visiting the planitarium. Sounds like fun to me.
