Ummm...I *think* I am going to throw a ham steak on the grill with baked hasbrowns and green beans for hubby. I am going to have probably leftover BBQ chicken and veggies. I am trying to be good! I have been working my booty off at the gym lately and eating healthier....I lost 7 1/2 lbs last week!! Go me!

I'm cooking some chicken breasts (hope I don;t get a webbie nastygram) in the set it & forget it, and will add the chicken to a caesar salad....maybe some hearts of palm and some artichokes for veggies...

Fixed shrimp and grits last night...

    Yes ma'am. Very easy.

    1 C Water
    1 C White Vinegar
    1 C Ketchup
    1 C Sugar

Bring to a boil, continue on a low boil for an hour.

For the meat - dip in whipped egg whites and coat with cornstarch (or flour if no CS).

tip - buy some cheap ketchup. I don't use up my Heinz on this, or my meatloaf!

I have tried deer in many ways, it's just not my cup-of-tea.....I do like one way DF does it, he takes the tenderloins and chunks them up, and marinates them in italian dressing for a day, then wraps them in bacon, shish-kabobs them and grills...I love venison that way.

We've tried to cook venison a few different ways... stew, steaks, soup all sucked except in lasanga... but I didn't cook that one.

    I think I know the pattern. I can't cook good deer.
