You can use any clumping litter, but there are certain ones that work better than others. I think we truly preferred Arm & Hammer in ours, Scoop Away was alright too. We were emptying the litter tray a couple times a week, and we go through atleast 10lbs of litter a week between the all the boxes, so we'd tried a variety depending on what was on sale.. Don't use the Berkley & Jensen (BJ's own brand), that stuff hardens like concrete and the rake gets hung up. Ohh.. and if you have more than one cat.. its monkey see, monkey do. When several of them go in a row, thats fun too! When the rake does get mucked up and you have to get down on your hands and knees, head in the tent, and clean it... the best thing to clean between the tines, is a very small paintbrush handle.

 

I'm glad my cat doesn't use a litter box! :mrgreen:
