I have 3 cats, i brought them to the vet to get them their shots, i asked the vet if she can confirm that these cats were all males, she looked and said they are all boys..BUT last night i heard my cats growling on my porch, i look out my window and one of my cats was on the other going to town on him for 10 minutes straight! either the vet made a big mistake or my cats are gay! if he is a she i just found out the hard way. does anyone know the number to the mobile spay and nueter that comes to tractor supply all the time? or does anyone have any helpful advise? what is the best thing to do ? let her have her kittens and then spay? they cant spay now can they? i specificaly wanted all male cats!
The mobile clinic that goes to Clayton and Fuquay? If so, that is Carolina Mobile Spay-Neuter Clinic out of Angier -- (919) 906-7729. I used them last year to have one of my dogs spayed and had no complaints.
Get them altered ASAP. While kittens are cute, there are way too many of them without homes. If this just happened, there is a good chance your spay surgery ill not cost you any extra. Go to the website and check the calender for when they will be in your area. Call right away and make the appointment to have it done - sooner rather than later. They can, however Spay at any time during the pregnancy - it will cost extra and it is much more pleasant to have it done now - for peace of mind. SNAP and Carolina Mobile both have excellent surgeons - Dr. Bartfield of SNAP and Dr. Flood of Carolina Mobile could likely do these surgeries in their sleep. Very experienced - with either one, you can't go wrong, not in price, nor their ability to to a good job in caring for your pet. www.SNAP-NC.org Dog Spay/Neuter - Includes Rabies, Distemper/Parvo vaccine & pain injection Up to 60 lbs - $100 Over 60 lbs - $125 Cat Spay/Neuter - Includes Rabies, Distemper vaccines & pain injection All Cats - $70 Heat/Pregnancy Dogs Additional - $30-45 Cats Additional - $15-20 Pain medicine to go home Cats - $3 Dogs - $5 Additional services (available only with spay/neuter): Microchip for permanent pet identification - $25 (lifetime registration, even if you move!) When I was at CCCC (back in the stone ages  ) the cadaver cat my lab partner and I had for anatomy was this beautiful long haired black & white girl. When we got to her uterus we found she was pregnant with one tiny little kitten. I will never forget that and often wonder how vets can stand to spay very pregnant females. Guess they've gotta do what they've gotta do, but still....
I had a repsonse typed out, but it's probably best I just stay out of this one. All I'm gonna say is that a spade is a spade anyway you look at it.
zook thank you so much zoo! kittens are cute but i do not want anymore cats, thats why i wanted all male cats for that particular purpose lol im going to have all of them fixed!
I used SNAP back in November go get my cat 'fixed' I had told them that my cat was a female. But when I went to pick my cat up they said that my cat 'Izzy' wasn't a female but was a male. At least he use to be a male
Even if you have male cats, please get them neutered. Especially if you let them outside... they will find a female! Even if the kittens made are not at your house to deal with, it is still more kittens that have been made. SPCA has vouchers you can buy on their websites and it is less than $60 for both male and female cats. You can buy it on line and use it with 30 or so local vets. Thanks for getting these guys (and maybe gal!) fixed.
