Ditto that... it's been almost 2 years, heck fire, probably over 2 years since I've fake baked.
Time to get my tan on.

I enjoy the 20 minutes of quiet. I do not use the sunsscreen on anything but my face. I don't go in the winter months . I start around middle march and go til about sept. I figure it like this if I am gonna die some day anyways why not look pretty and tan while I am alive.

Well, its like this to each their own. If they do not want to fake bake then good for them. If they have a problem with me doing they can kiss my pretty lil tanned ars.

Don't fake bake anymore, altho it was relaxing! I use the Jergen's lotion with self tanner in it on my legs mostly.....I get enough sun on upper body while doing yard work (yes, I LIKE to cut the grass!) and NEVER tan my face (too many freckles and a few sun-spots from my youth 'sun worshipping'). Sometimes I still just get on the deck and lay-out.........8)

A little sun is good for you in many ways, Vitamin D production, mood elevation, great for eczema(a Dermotologist put me in a tanning bed the first time I ever did it!). As with anything else, you can overdo it though. I just noticed I was getting way more freckels than I used to have, I'm 37 and although I don't have any wrinkles (prolly cause I'm a little fluffy!) I don't want to encourage them! :jester:

Does the jergen's work good? . I don't like the smells of most fake tanning lotions.

I have used Jergens, and it works good. Neutrogena mist is OUTSTANDING....however, the smell is in ALL of them, its the part that makes you tan....some are worse than others, I thought the tanning 'mists' like Neutrogena and Loreal, dont smell as bad.

Works good for me, its cheap, doesn't really have an odor and I've tried a few different ones.... I usually get the medium shade, I think it looks more natural. Still, you have to be careful or it can look bronzey - I apply it a few days in a row to get started, then every few days to maintain a nice color so I can wear skirts, shorts and capris.

Wow! I remember her from my last trip. She was a VERY nice lady. Sad that she felt she was in a position to have to steal.

With as much as I pay everytime I go, I cant imagine the salary @ a dentists office to be all that bad :)

Never tried the fake tan stuff, was always afraid it would turn out like this...

Plus, I am naturally very dark. The guys used to call me Kokomo Joe when we would hang out @ the beach/pool and tan.

Death is the only constant in life, might as well just enjoy life the way you want to

I agree, although you can have too much of just about everthing, except FUN!

Girl, that's a steal. My bed is 10 years old and my DH paid a lot more than that and he bought it new. It's still like brand new, I only use it about 3 weeks a year (base tan) to get ready for tanning by the pool.
