Oh my...poor Pepps... glad to hear you are feeling better today and that all is well in the world of Dr. R'. When I was real sick with a stomach virus 2 years ago, they prescribed PHENERGAN to quell the nausea, and it worked pretty good.

Hope the Tooth Fairy is good to you... I hear she's raised her rates, my neighbors kid got $10 recently!

$10!! That's ridiculous! Stuff like that is why kids today are so spoiled!
Back in the day - we were happy to get .50. Man, for $10 a tooth - I'd been pulling them out myself!

Know what's funny? At my house the tooth fairy forgets for a couple of nights and has to write herself a note to remind her to pick up the tooth and leave a buck.

Sshhhh. There's a way around that! Go help look for the dollar in the morning, when they're not looking toss it on their bed. "Oh, look. Silly! It's right there! You must have been sitting on it!"

    I wonder if I was a victim

I am having some dental work done myself. At my first visit last month I was given an itemized list of work to be done and the costs I would have to pay out of my pocket for a crown. Originally I was told I would have to pay something like $890 so on that first day I paid $244. On the next visit last week I was told I had to pay an additional $1,200! I asked why and she could not explain it but that it was due then and there. Hmmmm. I'll have to call my insurance company and see if anything was submitted at all.
You never know how desperate things can get for someone. I hope she has a good explanation for all of this and not just that she needed to make a boat payment.
